Northview Family Dentistry offers a variety of services to meet your dental needs
Dental Emergencies: Dental problems can occur at any time. Please feel free to call us outside of normal business hours if your emergency cannot wait until the next business day, and we would be happy to care of you.
Digital X-rays: Introducing digital radiography! This method reduces radiation exposure by almost 90% compared to conventional film x-rays. Digital x-rays give practitioners clearer images, without the chemical waste to pollute the environment.
Metal-Free Fillings: Resin (tooth-colored) fillings have been used routinely as a wonderful alternative to the traditional silver-mercury amalgam fillings. Over time, silver fillings can expand inside the tooth causing cracks that can lead to tooth decay and possible fractures. Resin fillings are metal-free and look just like your tooth; no unsightly grey plug, just a natural looking restoration. Resin fillings do not cause expansion over time like silver fillings, and they are bonded tightly to the healthy part of the tooth minimizing chances of breakdown in the future.
Cosmetic Dentistry: Northview Family Dentistry wants your smile to be our advertisement. We can help you with everything from simple to full rehabilitation of your teeth and smile. Come in and let us tell you about our crowns, veneers, bridges, implants, Invisalign, Zoom! Whitening, Snap-On-Smile, metal-free partial dentures, crowns in a day and more.
Invisalign: We offer invisible braces for both teens and adults. Crowding of your teeth isn’t just a cosmetic concern. When teeth are improperly aligned it can affect your bite and will cause more plaque and tartar buildup. Our prices are competitive so call for a consult today!
Zoom Whitening: The Zoom! System can only be distributed through dental professionals, and is more effective than over-the-counter methods of whitening. We create custom flexible trays for you to take home for whiter, brighter smiles fast! The trays cover only the teeth so you won’t get the gum irritation that occurs with over-the-counter strips and trays.
Digital Impressions: Traditional impressions for crowns, veneers, bridges, and even Invisalign can be an uncomfortable mess. Northview Family Dentistry has a 3M True Definition digital scanner which takes video images of your teeth and sends the records to the lab without any messy trays or goo involved! Your comfort is our top priority.
Preventative Dentistry: We strive to educate our patients on ways to keep their smiles healthy, not just for looks but for their overall well-being. A healthy mouth helps to keep the entire body healthy. Every patient is unique, which is why Dr. Lubberts spends her time with you to help solve any problems you may have and give you solutions to reduce or eliminate your chances of having these problems again.
TMJ and Botox Injections: Botox can be used as an adjunctive therapy for TMJ pain and heavy teeth grinding. This treatment takes about 20 minutes in the chair, and can give the patient 3-6 months of relief without affecting chewing or speech at all. If you wear a bite splint, have a lot of wear on your teeth from grinding them, or have TMJ pain that hasn’t resolved with traditional therapy let us see if Botox injections would be right for you.
Root Canals: Root canals are the alternative to extraction when a tooth nerve becomes infected. With modern anesthetics and technologies, root canals can be completely painless. This procedure removes infected tissue and disinfects the inside portions of the tooth and is then sealed off with antimicrobial material. After this is completed, the tooth may require a crown to keep it from fracturing in the future.
Periodontal Therapy: Did you know the leading cause of tooth loss is periodontal disease? Periodontal disease is an oral infection that causes the gums and the underlying bone to pull away from the teeth. Over time this disease can cause tooth mobility and possibly tooth loss. Research has linked the bacteria in our mouths that cause periodontal disease to conditions such as uncontrolled diabetes, heart disease, and stroke. Scaling and Root Planing, often referred to as “Deep Cleanings”, is an effective non-surgical treatment that can be performed in our office for most cases of periodontal disease.
